Call for Papers
The Thesis Eleven Centre for Cultural Sociology, Department of Social Inquiry, La Trobe University invites you to the 9th annual conference of the Castoriadis in the Antipodes Network.
The Castoriadis in the Antipodes conference encourages an encounter of ideas and conversations surrounding the writings and thought of Cornelius Castoriadis.
As a space for dialogue, the conference provides a timely opportunity to engage the global themes and issues in the work of this Greco-French intellectual and the discussions his thought continues to generate today.
We are looking to refresh the engagement of academics and enthusiasts alike who have found themselves at the crossroads, digging into their own labyrinth.
Thus, we are calling for papers from people with a scholarly interest in the work of Cornelius Castoriadis.
Paper proposals should include:
– Title
– Abstract (approximately 250 words)
– Contact details
– Presenter’s affiliation
The deadline for abstracts is Friday, October 28th, 2016.
All welcome, even if you do not wish to give a paper yourself.
Please RSVP by entering your name in the below form:
